The Brighton Race
The Great Xmas Pudding Race took place in Brighton for the first time in December 2010 and will run again in 2011. It was one of the wackiest races you have ever seen; the Pudding Race raised £8,500 for the Martlets Hospice and Cancer Research UK.
The race is a challenge of dexterity, balance, speed and general silliness. You’ll be balancing your pudding on a tray whilst negotiating our perilous obstacle course. You’ll need to get together a team of seven people. The challenge will be staying on your feet, with your pudding. Fitness is not a requirement!
There will be an array of fantastic prizes on offer to our teams of five. Categories will include: best fancy dress, quickest time round the course and of course most successful fundraising team.
Some of Brighton’s finest bands will be entertaining the crowds and runners between races on the day
